The Manifesto
We don't make fruit snacks. We make things with nothing extra.
Fruit was just where we started.
Every product we touch answers to the same question: what's the minimum this needs to be excellent? Not the minimum to be cheap. Not the minimum to be fast. The minimum to be right.
Most products are built by addition — one more ingredient to extend shelf life, one more to fix what the last one ruined. We build by subtraction. We start with too much, and keep removing until nothing left can go without the product getting worse.
Four ingredients wasn't a marketing decision. It was the answer to the only question that matters: does this need to be here?
This is not about fruit. It's not about snacks. It's about a standard we hold every product to — whatever that product turns out to be next.
We'd rather make one thing exceptionally than ten things adequately.
